HEY LEP
Sajalu leads the technical delivery of the Humber Cluster Plan (HICP) Project. The HICP project aims to illustrate how the Humber Industrial Cluster, UK’s largest emitting industrial cluster, can reach Net Zero by 2040 – potentially making it the first industrial cluster in the world to do so.
Prior to her involvement in the HICP, Sajalu served the local energy and sustainability agenda as the Energy Project Manager for HEY LEP, where she was involved in the development of the region’s outlook on the Electric Vehicle agenda.
She is a Commissioner in the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission.
Sajalu is a degree qualified Chemical Engineer, and a passionate ambassador of STEM subjects.
