Find tools, articles and resources to help you complete the ‘My Money’ strand of the mid-life MOT.

We are all living longer lives, which is something to be celebrated. But not enough of us know what our later lives are going to look like, and many of us don’t plan for the future we want.

Data from the Money Advice Service shows that less than half of people approaching later life say they understand enough to plan for retirement. As you approach later life you need to know how much you should be saving into your pension and your options for accessing it. Likewise, are you building up a sufficient savings pot to provide a safety net should you experience a financial shock, such as a big bill or loss of income?

Undertaking a mid-life MOT could provide you with timely, holistic information and guidance to help you take positive action to ensure a good later life that is financially secure.
