Bill has spent most of his career in Further Education (FE) and was appointed CEO and Principal of Bishop Burton College in October 2018. In 2019 Bishop Burton College was successful in its application to become part of two new regional Institutes of Technology: the Yorkshire and Humber Institute of Technology and the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology. Bill is a director of both of these institutions which have a remit to work with employers to deliver higher level technical skills training.
