The next instalment of Hull & East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s (HEY LEP) Skills Network meetings will take place next month.

The event, aimed at all stakeholders with an interest in workforce and skills, will host keynote speakers from the Association of Colleges and include discussions on the changes to Technical Education and the use of the Adult Education Budget.

There will also be information courtesy of the Institute of Apprenticeship and Technical Education, Occupational Mapping Service, Artificial Intelligence in Education and Digital Labour Market Intelligence, as well as an update on the region’s use of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Once again, there will be opportunities for guests/partners to network with space for a small stand, banners and marketing materials before and after the main event activities.

These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you would like to have a marketing stand, please contact Carl Southcoat, Senior Advisor, Employment and Skills at c.southcoat@heylep.com to confirm your table booking.

If you are interested in skills, education or training and you are not already a member and would like to be added to the HEY LEP Skills Network distribution list to ensure you receive invites to future network meetings and newsletters, please email employmentandskills@heylep.com confirming your name, position, organisation name and email.

The Skills Network meeting will be held on Tuesday 3 October at Aura Innovation Centre, Bridgehead Business Park, Meadow Rd, Hessle, HU13 0GD, from 12:30-4pm.

A full agenda will be circulated in due course. You can book your place for this free event here.
