A total of £103.7m was secured from the Local Growth Fund which will help alleviate flooding and support housing, transport, skills and business.
Overall the Local Growth Fund money will be matched by £98.5m investment from local partners and £165.1m investment from the private sector making a total investment package for the Humber region of £367m. This will see more than 6,000 jobs created and 3,000 safeguarded, in addition to short term construction jobs.
