On Wednesday 04 December, a free workshop will take place in Pocklington showcasing funding opportunities for micro, small and medium-sized rural businesses in the Humber.

 

Delegates will hear about the RDPE Rural Growth Programme, which is making further grants available for projects focused on food processing, rural business development and rural tourism infrastructure (including tourism accommodation).

 

The Humber Business Growth Hub will also be there to provide an overview of the other funding and business support that is available to businesses in the Humber, along with a number of its partners including The Supply Chain Network and Rural Community Energy Fund.

 

The event will take place at the Kilnwick Percy Resort, Pocklington, York YO42 1UF.

 

Registration and a buffet lunch will be available from 12.30pm, with the main event commencing at 1.15pm and finishing at 3.30pm.  Networking opportunities will be available both before the event over lunch and at the end.

You will have the opportunity to hear about the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) Growth Programme and LEADER grants, funded by the European Union, as well as the wide range of funding and support available in the area through the Humber Business Growth Hub.

RDPE Growth Programme Grants are currently available for investments in:

  • Food Processing
  • Rural Business Development
  • Toursim Infrastructure (including tourism accommodation)

The Humber and York, North Yorkshire, East Riding LEPs are working with the RDPE team in delivering this event to provide potential applicants with information about:

  • the various grants available
  • what is eligible and non-eligible activity
  • how to apply
  • the application process
