Humber region’s LEPs welcome East Coast Cluster announcement

The Hull and East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (HEY LEP) and Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership have welcomed the Government’s announcement that the East Coast Cluster is one of its chosen first track 1 clusters.

The East Coast Cluster is a collaboration between Zero Carbon Humber, Net Zero Teesside and Northern Endurance Partnership, and aims to remove nearly 50% of all UK Industrial cluster CO2 emissions.

The newly formed Hull and East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (HEY LEP) has appointed the region’s Business Engagement Board (BEB) as its main private sector Advisory Partner. This follows the creation of the LEP and the appointment of twelve new Board members on 1 April.

HEY LEP Appoints Founding Board Ahead of Official Launch

The founding Board members set to steer the economic direction of our region have been appointed by the Hull and East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (HEY LEP).

The Board members, with experience in a number of key sectors will help lead the strategic direction of the LEP, shaping future priorities, developing partnerships and securing investment from both public and private sectors.
